KAMSPORT is a Marketing and Promotion company committed to establishing long term relationships with sponsors, vendors, and anglers.


Karen Gainey is a professional and recreational angler who has fished for all types of fish in the U.S. and Canada. She has appeared on television, in print, and has conducted seminars at Outdoor Sports shows. She also conducts Freshwater Fishing courses at Allegheny County Community College and appears in Karen’s Fishing Corner, a weekly television show on PCTV - 21 in Pittsburgh.


KAMSPORT is dedicated to promoting Freshwater Fishing through education and example as a wholesome, family activity that can be enjoyed by all ages.


KAMSPORT will work with retailers, manufacturers, organizations and sponsors to promote Freshwater Fishing as a family activity. There are very few services dedicated to the education of anglers and almost none that are conducted by a woman.


KAMSPORT provides a forum for the encouragement of novice anglers, especially women and families, to enjoy the sport of fishing. This is an area that is under marketed in the sporting goods industry.



KAMSPORT offers the following services:

KAMSPORT will assist you in promoting your company to freshwater anglers through personal appearances, endorsements and advertising. We will work closely with you to customize promotional programs to help you to better serve your customers.


KAMSPORT will conduct seminars and/or product demonstrations at sports shows, sales meetings, or at sales outlets. You may choose from our list of over 100 seminar topics or let us customize a presentation for your specific needs. These seminars and demonstrations can last from 15 minutes to 3 hours and can be presented in a lecture or audience participation format.


KAMSPORT will conduct Public Relations programs for schools, church groups, scouting groups, civic and social groups. We will stress the joy of fishing and promote the conservation of our Natural Resources through education and example.


KAMSPORT will test and evaluate new and existing products. We will furnish a complete report on the ease of use, durability and productivity as well as suggestions for improvement or modifications.


Because of our location in Western Pennsylvania, we have access to all types of water from creeks to the Great Lakes, with fish from Crappie to Muskie.
We can also have your products evaluated by students and intermediate anglers in our classes and television productions to get the "average angler" opinion and feedback.


KAMSPORT will conduct training programs for your sales personnel stressing quality customer service, product knowledge and fishing methods. We will customize training packages to fit your needs. These programs can be conducted on-site, or in the field. We can customize and present general or product specific training at an introductory, intermediate or advanced level.
